30 shoelaces dyed with indigo and urine of thirty
different people.
Variable dimensions.
The sculpture called 'Personalised Shoelaces' started as a workshop where one could
dye shoelaces with his, or her own urine and indigo. The urine
contributions were collected in labeled jars, one month before the workshop
took place. After fermentation, the same donors could dye shoelaces with their
own urine. The workshop took place at Fort Gorgast between Berlin and the Polish border in summer 2015, thanks to
the generous support of O Tannenbaum institute and thirty urine donors.
